He played an innings of 88 runs against Australia. Both the batsmen came close to scoring a century but none of them managed to score a century.

2024 T20 World Cup

The T20 World Cup 2024 edition was jointly hosted by the USA and West Indies. The bowlers performed brilliantly throughout the tournament. Very few matches in this edition of the World Cup resulted in big scores. Although there were some matches in which the batsmen attacked strongly with the bat, even after that no batsman could manage to score a century.

The highest score in T20 World Cup 2024 was made by West Indies wicketkeeper batsman Nicholas Pooran. Pooran played a stormy innings of 98 runs off 53 balls against Afghanistan. Pooran missed out on scoring a century by 2 runs in the match. Apart from Pooran, American batsman Aaron James is at number two. James played a brilliant innings of 94 runs against Canada. Indian captain Rohit Sharma also came close to scoring a century. He played a stormy innings of 92 runs off 41 balls against Australia.
