After landing in New Delhi, Team India first met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and then on reaching Mumbai, the atmosphere of celebration was different. During this celebration, when Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli danced together in the Wankhede Stadium, it was a sensation.

After winning the World Cup, the players were perhaps more impatient than the fans for Team India's return. After missing out for many years, their hard work had paid off, which made the whole country happy. In Mumbai, first, a victory procession was taken out in an open bus till the Wankhede Stadium, around which thousands of fans had gathered.

As soon as they landed on the field, Virat Kohli took the entire team including captain Rohit Sharma to the fans, where the famous dholwalas of Nashik were performing. Then what, Kohli and Rohit started dancing and on seeing them, the rest of the team members could not stop themselves and started dancing. For the first time, Indian fans got a chance to see Rohit and Kohli dancing together so freely.

After the function ended, Team India took a round of the ground and once again Virat asked the entire team to sing AR Rahman's famous song 'Vande Mataram' together and the fans also started singing this song openly.
