“Prithvi is an interesting talented player and what he has done for us in such a short time was incredible. He was not able to join us for longer due to his injury. For which I am disappointed. He wanted to play some red-ball cricket, so next year there may be an opportunity for him to do so again.

Scored a double century for Northamptonshire last season

Prithvi Shaw played an innings of 244 runs in 153 balls against Somerset in a match played for Northamptonshire in the last edition. During this innings of 244 runs, Prithvi Shaw thrashed every bowler of Somerset with his bat. Prithvi Shaw hit 28 fours and 11 sixes in his innings but after participating in this match, Prithvi Shaw got injured and could not play any other match in that mega tournament.
