Team India: Team India is currently on a tour of Zimbabwe. Team India (ZIM VS IND) has to play a series of 5 T20 matches on the Zimbabwe tour. In the first match of this series, captain Shubman Gill can give Abhishek Sharma, Riyan Parag and Dhruv Jurel a chance to debut. On the other hand, the team management has also decided the playing 11 for the second match of the Zimbabwe T20 series.
According to which it is believed that world champion players like Sanju Samson, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shivam Dubey will not be included in the playing 11 for the second match, while Tushar Deshpande and Harshit Rana may get a chance to debut at the international level for Team India in the second match of the series.
Sanju Samson and Yashasvi Jaiswal were given a chance in the team squad initially selected for the Zimbabwe tour, but when young all-rounder Nitish Reddy got injured, the selection committee added Shivam Dubey to the team squad, but after winning the World Cup, Team India took time to return to India.
Due to which the selection committee announced the replacement of Sanju Samson, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shivam Dubey for the first two matches of the Zimbabwe T20 series. Sai Sudarshan, Harshit Rana and Jitesh Sharma were added to the team as replacements for these three players.
Team India has to play its first and second matches on the Zimbabwe tour without any rest day. In such a situation, the team management can remove the fast bowlers playing in the first match from the playing 11 to manage their workload and give Harshit Rana and Tushar Deshpande a chance to debut in their place.
