Rajiv Shukla said that the news related to BCCI and India regarding the Champions Trophy is fake. He said that he does not know from which sources such information is being given. The BCCI Vice President further revealed that the board has not had any official talks with the ICC regarding Team India not going to Pakistan. Rajiv Shukla's statement is being considered a hint and fans are speculating that the Indian team may tour Pakistan. However, BCCI is yet to make an official statement on this.

The Pakistani media had made an even bigger claim about the Indian team. They said that the ICC will organise the ICC Champions Trophy in Pakistan at any cost. On the other hand, if India demands a hybrid model, then it will be excluded from the Champions Trophy and Sri Lanka will be included in the tournament, for which the Sri Lanka Cricket Board is waiting for the green signal from the ICC.

This demand came from Afghanistan
