A great match was seen between India and Pakistan in the final match of the World Championship of Legends (WCL). While this match reminded fans of the 2007 T20 World Cup final, Irfan Pathan's swing bowling reminded them of his feat in Karachi 18 years ago. Irfan was not bowling in this match, but was spitting fire. Pakistani batsmen were having a lot of problems playing his ball. They were not able to hit a boundary to Pathan even if they wanted to. During the first innings, in the 12th over, he bowled a 'magic' delivery to Younis Khan, the video of which has gone viral on social media.

Younis Khan was bowled

In this final match being held in Birmingham, England, Pakistan's captain Younis Khan won the toss and chose to bat first. Indian bowlers started giving blows from the second over itself, but what Irfan Pathan did in the 12th over was worth watching. 18 years ago Irfan took a hat-trick in Karachi during his tour of Pakistan. His spell created fear among the Pakistani batsmen. In his hat-trick, he dismissed legendary batsmen like Salman Butt, Mohammad Yousuf and Younis Khan. In this test match, he bowled such an inswinger to Younis that he did not understand and he got bowled. In the WCL final also, the Pakistani captain was bowled in the same way.

Irfan Pathan bowled 3 overs in this match. During this he gave away 12 runs at an economy of just 4 and took an important wicket. His wicket broke the partnership between Shoaib Malik and Younis Khan. This slowed down Pakistan's innings. The incoming batsmen stopped hitting in order to play cautiously.

Superb bowling, got the target of 157

Not only Irfan Pathan, other bowlers of the team also kept the Pakistani batsmen tied down. Anureet Singh gave a jolt to Pakistan on the last ball of the second over. Pawan Negi and Rahul Shukla also took wickets and did not let any runs be scored. Pakistan somehow gave India a target of 157 runs. In reply, till the time of writing the news, the Indian team had scored 89 runs at the loss of 2 wickets in 10 overs and was slowly getting closer to victory.
