In the fourth match of the 5-match T20 International series, India defeated host Zimbabwe with the help of Yashasvi Jaiswal and captain Shubman Gill (Shubman GillWith the help of half-centuries of ) India defeated India by 10 wickets. With this, India won the series 3-1. In this match played at Harare Sports Club, Harare, India won the toss and decided to bat first.
Batting first, Zimbabwe scored 152 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. Captain Sikandar Raza scored the most runs from the team. He scored 46 runs in 28 balls with the help of 2 fours and 3 sixes. Tadiwanashe Marumani scored 32 runs in 31 balls with the help of 3 fours. Wesley Madhevere contributed 25 runs in 24 balls with the help of 4 fours. Marumani and Madhevere gave a good start to the team by adding 63 (52) runs for the first wicket. Khalil Ahmed took the maximum of 2 wickets from India. Abhishek Sharma, debutant Tushar Deshpande, Shivam Dubey and Washington Sundar managed to take one wicket each.
Chasing the target, India won the match by scoring 156 runs without losing any wicket in 15.2 overs. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored the most runs from India's side. He played an unbeaten half-century innings of 93 runs with the help of 13 fours and 2 sixes in 53 balls. Jaiswal scored a half-century in 29 balls. Captain Shubman Gill played an unbeaten half-century innings of 58 runs with the help of 6 fours and 2 sixes in 39 balls. He scored a half-century in 35 balls.
