Shubman Gill: Team India has won the final match of the 5-match T20 series by 42 runs. With this win, Shubman and company have won the series 4 – 1. In the last match played on Sunday, India batted first and scored 167/6 in 20 overs, in response to which the hosts were all out for just 125 runs in 18.3 overs.

During the post-match presentation, Indian captain Shubman Gill said, “It was a great series. The hunger we showed for victory after the defeat in the first match was commendable. Many players had come here on long flights, they did not know much about the conditions. But still the way they played was amazing.”

At the same time, regarding the next series against Sri Lanka, he said, “I have been there (Sri Lanka) once for the Asia Cup, I am very excited to go there and play.”
