Gautam Gambhir: Gautam Gambhir has become the new head coach of the Indian cricket team and now it will be interesting to see what new changes he makes in the team. However, there are two players whom Gambhir will never give a chance in the future.
Gambhir has already given such a statement and he wants to build a young team and because of this, there are two players who will find it difficult to find a place in Team India's T20 format and they will never be seen playing in this format for India.

It is very difficult for wicketkeeper batsman KL Rahul to get a place in Team India in the T20 format. Rahul has already been out of Team India for a long time and he will get more chances in the future. Rahul is currently 32 years old and his increasing age is also a reason why he hardly gets a chance to play in the T20 format.
Rahul has played a total of 72 T20 matches in his career, in which he has performed brilliantly but for some time his strike rate has declined and due to this he has not been selected in the team for the last two years in the T20 format and Gambhir will also not give him a chance.
Gambhir is also not going to give India's veteran fast bowler Mohammed Shami a chance in the T20 format. The main reason for this is that his age is increasing and due to this he will not get a chance in the team.
Shami also appeared in Team India's jersey in this format two years ago and since then he has not been given a chance. Currently Shami is out due to injury but considering his increasing age, Gautam is not going to give him a chance in this format in the coming times.
In fact, even before becoming the head coach of India, Gambhir had made it clear that he wanted to give opportunities to the youth in T20 cricket and prepare a young team. In such a situation, Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja and Virat Kohli have already said goodbye to this format.
Those senior players who do not want to retire from T20 cricket yet, it is very difficult for them to get a chance in the future because Gauti wants to build a young team for the T20 World Cup 2026.
