Paris Olympics 2024 is now near. The world's biggest sporting event will begin from July 26. Obviously, the eyes of the whole world will also be on these games and about 10 thousand athletes will represent their respective countries in different sports. This time 128 athletes from India will also participate with the hope of waving the tricolor. Like every Olympics, this time too there will be a special thing in the Indian team and that is the players associated with the Indian Army. Be it Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore or Ravi Kumar or Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra, players associated with the Indian security forces have always participated in the Olympics and have also won medals for the country. A total of 11 soldiers including Neeraj Chopra will present India's claim in Paris this time.

Neeraj Chopra

Neeraj Chopra, who made javelin throw popular in the country, is posted as a Subedar in the Indian Army. He has been continuously raising the prestige of the country as well as the army by performing brilliantly in every big event. Neeraj, who created history by winning the gold medal in the Tokyo Olympics, will enter the field with the intention of repeating this success for the second consecutive time.

Avinash Sable

Apart from Neeraj, if any athlete has not only performed well in his sport but has also continuously improved, then it is racer Avinash Sable. Naib Subedar Avinash Sable of the Indian Army has broken the national record 10 times in 3000 meter steeple chase. He will also enter the same event in Paris with the intention of doing wonders.

Amit Panghal

Before the failure of Tokyo Olympics, Amit Panghal's name was famous. Subedar Amit Panghal of the Indian Army had won many medals in boxing including World Championship, Asian Games. Panghal's performance has declined in the last few years but before the Paris Olympics, he seems to be back in form and will stake a claim in the flyweight category.

varun tomar

Saurabh Chaudhary, who was India's biggest medal hope in shooting in the last Olympics, is not a part of the Games this time, but his relative Varun Tomar will compete in the same event. 21-year-old Varun is a havildar in the army and will compete in the 10 meter air pistol event.

He has been participating in the Olympics since 2004.

Balraj Pawar

In the last Olympics too, soldiers from the Indian Army had participated in the rowing event and the same trend has continued this time as well. Sepoy Balraj Panwar had qualified for the Paris Olympics by winning a bronze medal in the Asia-Oceania qualifying event.
