Ravindra Jadeja

For star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, making a comeback to the ODI team will be no less than breaking a mountain. Jadeja played his last ODI match for India against Australia in the ODI World Cup 2023 last year, since then he has not been a part of the Indian ODI team.

Recently, he also performed very poorly in the T20 World Cup 2024. If reports are to be believed, now the Indian management has also decided to give preference to all-rounders like Washington Sundar, Shivam Dubey and Akshar Patel over Ravindra Jadeja keeping in mind the upcoming Champion Trophy. In such a situation, it is clear that it is going to be very difficult for Jadeja to make a comeback in the ODI team.

Yuzvendra Chahal

The doors of the Indian team seem to be closing for 33-year-old Yuzvendra Chahal as well. Chahal has impressed the big names with his bowling, but despite this he is not getting opportunities in the Indian team. He played his last ODI for India against New Zealand in January last year. He has played 72 ODIs and 80 T20 matches for India, but it is also true that now the management is looking at Kuldeep Yadav and other young spinner bowlers over Chahal.

Sanju Samson

Wicketkeeper batsman Sanju Samson is also included in this list. Samson scored a century against South Africa in his last ODI match for India. His average in the ODI format has been 56, however despite this he has been dropped from the Indian ODI team. Sanju made his debut for India in 2015, but till now he has been able to play only 16 ODI matches for India. Players like KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant have also returned to the team, so the doors of the ODI team have closed for Sanju.
