Hardik Pandya: Team India's veteran all-rounder Hardik Pandya has been a topic of discussion for some time now. He has been in the headlines from his cricket career to his personal life. Hardik has recently divorced his wife and things are not going well for him in cricket either.
After the victory in the T20 World Cup 2024, it was believed that Pandya would be the captain of Team India's next T20 as he was the vice-captain of the team. However, when Team India was announced for the Sri Lanka tour, Suryakumar Yadav was made the captain.

Actually, Gautam Gambhir has become the new head coach of the Indian team and he has replaced Rahul Dravid. Gambhir will take over his responsibility from the Sri Lanka tour but as soon as he became the coach, Hardik was stripped of the captaincy and Surya has been made the new captain.
In such a situation, it is believed that Hardik has lost the captaincy because of Gambhir but this is not the case at all and Pandya has not lost the captaincy of Team India due to the advice of a senior player and not Gautam.
Let us tell you that if the reports coming out are to be believed, then India's captain Rohit Sharma had advised BCCI not to make Hardik the captain. Rohit believed that Hardik would not be able to take the team together and for this reason, instead of making him the captain, the captaincy should be given to a player who takes the team together and unites the team.
The rift between Hardik and Rohit was seen during IPL 2024 itself, when Mumbai Indians removed Sharma and appointed Pandya as their new captain. Since then, the relationship between the two has soured and now Rohit has stopped him from becoming the captain and he has also convinced the BCCI with his feedback.
Let us tell you that in the year 2020, Hardik married Serbian model Natasha Stankovic. It was only 4 years since their relationship when they decided to separate. The news of their divorce started coming during IPL 2024 and now both have decided to separate.
