Usually, you must have seen fans entering the field during any cricket match. They break the security cordon and enter the middle of the field to meet their favourite players. They see them, touch their feet, hug them and go back to the gallery. This kind of sight is very common in IPL, but a strange sight was seen during England's T20 Blast League. During the match between Surrey and Hampshire, a fox, considered a dangerous animal, entered the field.
Hampshire batted first in this match. This incident happened in the sixth over of their innings. Chris Jordan was bowling, he was about to bowl to Toby Albert when the fox entered the field. On seeing him, the cameraman's attention also went there. The players got scared after seeing him. The game stopped and everyone stopped wherever they were and waited for him to go. No one had the courage to chase him away. The fox ran on the field in the live match and went out on its own. During this time, it did not harm anyone.

After Fox left, the game started again. Hampshire batted first and scored 183 runs. Tony Albert played a vital role in this. After losing 3 wickets in the powerplay, he played a crucial innings of 66 runs in 45 balls. However, due to Sam Curran's stormy batting, Surrey chased the match with 5 balls to spare.
Chasing a target of 184 runs, Surrey lost 3 wickets for 27 runs in 4 overs. For a moment, the match seemed to be going in Hampshire's hands, but after that Sam Curran came out to bat. He scored 102 runs in just 58 balls and single-handedly won the match.
