We are talking about WWE's famous wrestler Kurt Angle, who was very popular in the 2000s and used to shine in the wrestling ring. WWE (formerly WWF) fans must know Kurt Angle well, but hardly anyone would know that before entering the professional wrestling ring, Kurt Angle was also a fan of normal wrestling and was making his mark in it. Born in Pittsburgh, America, Kurt Angle started learning the tricks of wrestling at the age of 7 and gradually kept improving himself in it.

Kurt's career got recognition when he won the gold medal of FILA Wrestling World Championship in 1995. Just a year after this, Kurt's dream for which he was working hard, came true. In the Olympic Games held in Atlanta in 1996, Kurt created a stir by winning the gold medal for America in the 100 kg weight category. He won this gold by defeating Iran's Abbas Jadidi. His victory was also special because he had injured his neck before the trials but even after this he was successful in the trials. Then after resting for 5 months, he returned to action with the help of painkiller injections and finally took a sigh of relief by winning the gold.

After this, Kurt Angle left wrestling and turned to professional wrestling and debuted in WWF (now WWE) in 1998. He clashed with the legends of the ring and created a stir by defeating them. Kurt Angle won the WWF Championship title for the first time in 2000 by defeating The Rock.

Then after some time he defeated the most dangerous wrestler like The Undertaker and retained his title. After this, the conflict between the two continued for many years, where both of them kept dominating each other at different times. After being active in WWE for about 20 years, Kurt Angle retired from professional wrestling in 2019.
