Rinku Singh: After the Zimbabwe tour, Team India now has to play T20 and ODI series with Sri Lanka. For which Team India's squad has been announced. The series with Sri Lanka is to start from July 27. Young players have got a chance in the T20 series.

While Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have returned in the ODI series. While Team India can leave for the Sri Lanka tour very soon. But Team India may get a big shock even before the Sri Lanka tour begins. Because, star player Rinku Singh may be out of the series without playing a single match.

Rinku Singh may be out

Star batsman Rinku Singh has got a place in the 3 match T20 series against Sri Lanka. But now Rinku Singh may not get a chance to play even a single match in the T20 series.

Because, senior player Hardik Pandya has returned to Team India's squad. Due to which Hardik can be seen playing in all three matches. Due to which Rinku Singh can remain on the bench. Rinku Singh's performance in the T20 series against Zimbabwe was mixed.

Cannot make place in playing 11

Many players have returned to the 15-member team of Team India. Due to which it seems difficult for Rinku Singh to make it to the playing 11. Suryakumar Yadav was made the captain against Sri Lanka and Shubman Gill was made the vice-captain, due to which the playing of both these players is confirmed.

While Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson, Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya and Shivam Dubey are also sure to get a chance. Due to which Rinku Singh is not able to find a place in the team and he may have to work as a water boy on the Sri Lanka tour.

Rinku Singh's performance against Zimbabwe

Rinku Singh's performance in the recently played 5 match T20 series against Zimbabwe was not very good. Because, Rinku Singh was out without opening his account in the first match against Zimbabwe. However, he played an unbeaten innings of 48 runs after that. While in the remaining 2 matches, Rinku remained unbeaten by scoring 1 and 11 runs.
