BCCI selection committee chairman Ajit Agarkar has announced the 15-member Team India for the three-match ODI series to be played against Sri Lanka. Many young players have been given a chance in this team selected by Ajit Agarkar and it is being said that these players will be seen representing Team India in the future as well. But along with this, the news is also becoming increasingly viral on social media that the same team selected by Ajit Agarkar can also be seen playing in the ODI World Cup 2027.

The team announced by the selection committee headed by Ajit Agarkar for the ODI series on the Sri Lanka tour has many players who are completely fit and that is why it is being said that these players will be seen representing Team India in the Champions Trophy 2025 and ODI World Cup 2027 in the coming time.
The command of the team has been handed over to experienced batsman Rohit Sharma, while specialist players like Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill, Hardik Pandya are also part of this team. It is being said that there is no scope for much change in this team selected by the management.
The BCCI management has considered giving a chance to two new fast bowlers in the team India selected for the ODI series against Sri Lanka. The BCCI selection committee has given a chance to fast bowlers Harshit Rana and Khalil Ahmed for this series.
But it is being said that both these players will not be a part of Team India in the upcoming big tournament and in their place the management will once again consider giving a chance to Jaspreet Bumrah, one of the best fast bowlers of the Indian cricket team, and his fellow brilliant fast bowler Mohammed Shami.
Rohit Sharma (captain), Shubman Gill (vice-captain), Virat Kohli, KL Rahul (wicketkeeper), Rishabh Pant (wicketkeeper), Shreyas Iyer, Shivam Dubey, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Siraj, Washington Sundar, Arshdeep Singh, Riyan Parag, Axar Patel, Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah.
