Hardik Pandya: The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is to be played in Pakistan and for this, India's new head coach Gautam Gambhir is already busy preparing because before the Champions Trophy, India has to play only 6 ODI matches and in such a situation, the right balance of the team will have to be found during this time.
Looking at the team's schedule, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will now include those players in the team who will perform well in Vijay Hazare before the Champions Trophy. In such a situation, veteran all-rounder Hardik Pandya is also in danger of being dropped.
Let us tell you that the ICC has given the hosting rights of the Champions Trophy 2025 to Pakistan and this tournament is to be played entirely in the neighboring country. Actually, Pakistan has got the rights to host any ICC tournament after 28 years.
Pakistan last hosted the ODI World Cup in 1996 along with India and Sri Lanka and since then it has never hosted any major tournament and now it has got a chance to do so again after 28 years.

Actually, a report of Times of India has come out, in which it has been said that in Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024, BCCI will keep an eye on Hardik Pandya's bowling and will see how he bowls.
The cricket board will keep a close eye on whether he bowls 10 overs in the tournament or not. Pandya bowled brilliantly in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 but the Champions Trophy is to be played in ODI format and in such a situation captain Rohit Sharma and head coach Gautam Gambhir would like to see whether he can bowl 10 overs or not.
If Hardik is not able to complete his quota of 10 overs, it will become very difficult for him to play. In such a situation, Rohit and Gambhir can exclude him from the team and it will become difficult for him to play in the Champions Trophy.

Let us tell you that even though Pakistan is hosting the Champions Trophy, it is not clear yet whether Team India will tour Pakistan or not. If we talk about BCCI's attitude, then it does not seem to be happening at the moment and this tournament can be played on a hybrid model.
