BCCI Secretary Jai Shah has made a big announcement on social media. Jai Shah tweeted that I am proud to announce that BCCI will support our incredible athletes representing India at the 2024 Paris Olympics. We are providing Rs 8.5 crore to the Indian Olympic Association for the campaign.

The players of Tokyo Olympics were also honored

Earlier, the BCCI had honored the players who won medals in the Tokyo Olympics in the year 2021. BCCI gave a reward of Rs 1 crore to Neeraj Chopra, who won the gold medal in the Olympics, Rs 50 lakh each to Mirabai Chanu and Ravi Dahiya who won silver, and Rs 25 lakh each to PV Sindhu, Lovlina Borgohain, Bajrang Punia who won bronze. Apart from this, Rs 1.25 crore was given to the Indian men's hockey team that won bronze.

This time 111 athletes from India will try their best to win medals. Talking about Olympic history, India has won a total of 35 medals so far.
