Team India: After winning the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, India now has to play the next ICC tournament Champions Trophy in the year 2025 and this tournament will be played in Pakistan. In such a situation, the new head coach of Team India, Gautam Gambhir, would like to get this for India under his coaching.
There is still a lot of time left for the Champions Trophy to begin but Gambhir has somewhere already decided which 15 players are to be included in Team India's squad for this tournament.
Let us tell you that before the Sri Lanka tour, new head coach Gautam Gambhir and chief selector Ajit Agarkar have made a big statement in a press conference and said that senior players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will be seen playing in this tournament because they are very important for the team.
Agarkar has also said that Ravindra Jadeja, who was not selected for the ODI series against Sri Lanka, is not yet out of the ODI team and he can be given a chance in the future. In such a situation, his statement seems to indicate that almost the same team will go for the Champions Trophy as well, which will play the ODI series against Sri Lanka.
Gambhir has even said that if Rohit and Virat want and they maintain their fitness, then both the players can also play in the ODI World Cup to be held in 2027.

In fact, after the victory in the T20 World Cup, the Secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Jay Shah, had said that Team India would win the Champions Trophy 2025 under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma.
Shah said that almost the same team that played in the T20 World Cup will go for this tournament. Now it seems clear that the selection of Team India for the Champions Trophy has almost been done already.
