He was also selected as the Player of the Match for this excellent innings.

Actually, Sanjay Krishnamurthi is of Indian origin and his parents belong to Karnataka, India but they moved to America and there Sanjay was born in Corvallis, Oregon, which is a state of America.
This player was born on 2 June 2003 and came to India to watch the final match of the 2011 World Cup and after this, his son became inclined towards cricket and due to this, Sanjay's parents decided to settle back in India, looking at his future in cricket.
