The Indian team has to play series after series in the coming time and their schedule is going to be very busy. Currently, Team India is on a tour of Sri Lanka, where they have to play 3-match T20 and ODI series.
After Sri Lanka, Team India has to face Bangladesh (IND vs BAN) at home, where a two-match Test series and a three-match ODI series are to be played between the two teams. Shubman Gill and wicketkeeper batsman Sanju Samson may be shown the way out from Team India's squad for this series.
Actually, currently both these players are part of the Indian team that has toured Sri Lanka and will also be seen playing in the T20 series. However, if both of them are unable to perform well, then they can be dropped from the team and they will not get a chance against Bangladesh.
It may be difficult for Gill and Sanju to get a chance in the T20 series against Bangladesh and if they want to retain their place in the team, they will have to perform well against Sri Lanka. If they are unable to do so, chief selector Ajit Agarkar may drop them from the team.

Abhishek Sharma made his place in Team India by performing brilliantly in IPL 2024 and made his debut in international cricket against Zimbabwe. He also played a century on this tour but after this he was not given a chance against Sri Lanka but he can be given a chance in the T20 series against Bangladesh in October.
Ruturaj Gaikwad also performed well on the Zimbabwe tour but despite this he was shown the way out of the team and now he can return to Team India in the home series against Bangladesh.
Rituraj Gaikwad, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Abhishek Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav (captain), Rinku Singh, Rishabh Pant (wicketkeeper), Dhruv Jurel (wicketkeeper), Shivam Dubey, Axar Patel, Hardik Pandya, Washington Sundar, Mohammed Siraj, Arshdeep Singh, Mukesh Kumar, Ravi Bishnoi.
