The opening ceremony of Paris Olympics 2024 is to be held on 26 July. During this, 117 players of India will present their claim for 69 medals in archery, athletics, badminton, boxing, equestrian, golf, hockey, judo, rowing, sailing, shooting, swimming, table tennis and tennis. This is the second largest contingent of India after the Tokyo Olympics. India had sent 119 athletes to Tokyo, where the country won 7 medals. This time the number of medals is expected to increase. Archers Deepika Kumari, Ankita Bhakat and Bhajan Kaur will make their Olympic debut for India in Paris.
