Team coach accused of rape

Some time ago, a coach of the Kerala Cricket Association was accused of sexual abuse by the players of the junior women's team. Kerala Cricket Association coach M. Manu was being accused of sexual abuse by the junior players since 2018, but no action was being taken by the management. Many times, allegations were made against him under the POCSO Act, but he was allowed to continue in his position.

The coach used to ask for nudes from the players

Kerala's junior cricketers had made serious allegations against coach Manu and said that he often tried to touch us in an unusual way during training. Along with this, he also tried to touch sensitive body parts. Many girls even said that this coach used to ask for nudes from female players and talked about giving them personal training. Keeping all these allegations in mind, a case was registered against him.

The coach himself admitted it

Recently, a media report claimed that when the management made an inquiry against him, he accepted many of the charges. If reports are to be believed, he has accepted that Manu has accepted asking for nudes from the players. However, he is yet to accept other charges. If he accepts all the charges against him, then he will be sentenced under BNS.
