Ireland vs Zimbabwe: Ireland has scored 33 runs at the loss of 5 wickets in the second innings till the end of the third day of the only Test match being played at the Civil Service Cricket Club in Belfast. Host Ireland still needs 125 runs to win, while Zimbabwe has to take 5 wickets. Lorcan Tucker (9) and Andy McBrine (4) returned to the pavilion unbeaten when the innings ended.

Ireland had a very bad start in the second innings and Peter Moore, Curtis Campher and Harry Tector returned to the pavilion without opening their account. Captain Andrew Balbirnie was out after scoring 4 runs and Paul Stirling was out after scoring 10 runs.

For Zimbabwe, Richard Ngarava took 4 wickets and Blessing Muzarabani took 1 wicket in the second innings.

It is worth noting that on the third day, Zimbabwe started the second innings with a score of 12 runs without any loss. Dion Myers scored 57 runs and Sean Williams scored 40 runs. Due to which Bangladesh scored 197 runs in the second innings and due to the lead in the first innings, Ireland got a target of 158 runs to win.

For Ireland, Andy McBrine took 4 wickets in the second innings, Mark Adair and Craig Young took 2-2, and Barry McCarthy and Matthew Humphreys took 1-1 wickets.

After being invited to bat first, Zimbabwe scored 210 runs in the first innings, in which opening batsman Prince Masvaure scored 74 runs and Joylord Gumbi scored 49 runs. Together, they made a partnership of 97 runs for the first wicket.

In response, Ireland scored 250 runs on the basis of Peter Moore's 79-run innings and gained a lead of 40 runs. Andy McBrine played an important innings of 28 runs and Matthew Humphries played an unbeaten innings of 27 runs.
