India vs Sri Lanka 1st T20I: Indian captain and star batsman Suryakumar Yadav created history by scoring a stormy half-century in the first T20 International against Sri Lanka at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium on Saturday (July 27). Suryakumar batted at a strike rate of 223.08 and scored 58 runs in 26 balls, in which he hit eight fours and two sixes. With this half-century innings, he made some special records in his name.

Glenn Maxwell left behind

Suryakumar has made the record of playing the most fifty plus innings in T20 International at a strike rate of 200 or more. This is his ninth fifty plus score at a strike rate of more than 200. He left Glenn Maxwell (8) behind in this list.

Fourth player to hit most sixes

Suryakumar has reached the fourth position in the list of players who have hit the most sixes in T20 International. He now has 135 sixes. Suryakumar left Glenn Maxwell behind in this list, who has hit 134 sixes in this format. Only Rohit Sharma, Martin Guptill and Jos Buttler are ahead of him in this list.
