Jai Shah announced the new 2 coaches of Team India, sent them to Sri Lanka overnight, the names are surprising

Let us tell you that the responsibility of assistant coach of Team India has been given to former Kolkata Knight Riders batting coach Abhishek Nayar. Nair and India's head coach Gautam Gambhir are very close to each other and both have worked together for Kolkata.

Gambhir had sent Nair's name to Jay Shah for the post of assistant coach of the team and he has now taken over this post. Hardly anyone would have known Nair before this because he has played only 3 ODIs for Team India and was coaching Kolkata in the IPL.

Ryan Ten Doeschate was also included in the coaching staff of Team India

Ryan ten Doeschate is a name that probably any Indian would have heard before because he is a player from Netherlands and was working as the fielding coach of Kolkata in IPL but due to being close to Gambhir, he got a chance in the coaching staff of Team India.

Doeschate is an all-rounder from the Netherlands who has played 33 ODIs and 24 T20 matches for his country. During this time, he scored 1541 runs in ODIs and took 55 wickets. In T20 cricket, he scored 533 runs and took 13 wickets.

Gambhir era started with victory

Let us tell you that the Sri Lanka tour was Gautam Gambhir's first assignment as head coach and its first match was played in Pallikele on Saturday. In this match, Team India won by 43 runs and with this, Gambhir has started his coaching tenure as head with a win.
