INDW vs SLW: Women's Asia Cup T20 2024 is currently being played in Sri Lanka. The final match of which was played between India and Sri Lanka (INDW vs SLW) women's team at the Dambulla ground. In the semi-finals, the Indian women's team defeated Bangladesh and made it to the final.

While Sri Lanka made it to the Asia Cup by defeating Pakistan in the semi-finals. In the final match, Sri Lanka defeated the Indian women's team and succeeded in winning the Asia Cup. Team India set a target of 166 runs for Sri Lanka. In response to which Sri Lanka succeeded in winning the match by 8 wickets.

Let us tell you that in the final match of Women's Asia Cup T20 2024, Indian women's team captain Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, the Indian women's team managed to score 165 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs.

For the Indian women's team, opener Smriti Mandhana played an innings of 60 runs in 47 balls. Smriti Mandhana hit 10 fours in her innings. Apart from her, Jemima Rodrigues played a quick innings of 29 and Richa Ghosh played a quick innings of 30 runs. On the basis of which, Team India set a target of 166 runs in front of Sri Lanka in the final. For Sri Lanka, Kavisha Dilhari took 2 wickets for 36 runs.

In the final match of Asia Cup T20 2024 (Womens Asia Cup 2024), Sri Lanka women's team batted brilliantly while chasing the target of 166 runs and managed to win the match by 8 wickets. Sri Lanka team had a bad start in the final.

But after this, captain Chamari Athapaththu and Harshitha Samarawickrama handled the innings. Due to which Sri Lanka was successful in defeating India by 8 wickets. Chamari Athapaththu scored 61 runs from the Sri Lankan women's team. While Harshitha Samarawickrama remained unbeaten after scoring 69 runs.

Rohit and Kohli's sister was a flop!

Team India's star players Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are considered as brothers by Indian women players Harmanpreet Kaur and Renuka Thakur Singh. But Rohit and Kohli's sister flopped in the Asia Cup final.

Due to which Team India had to face defeat. In the final match, Harmanpreet Kaur could score only 11 runs. While Renuka Thakur Singh could not take even 1 wicket by giving 23 runs in 3 overs. Due to which the team had to face a crushing defeat.
