Shooter Manu Bhaker, who won the country's first medal in the Paris Olympics, has once again done wonders. After winning the bronze medal for the country in the 10 meter air pistol event, Manu Bhaker has now raised hopes of a medal in the mixed team event as well. Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh finished third in the mixed event, now both of them together will take on South Korean shooters in the bronze medal match. Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot's bronze medal match will be held on Tuesday at 1 pm.
Rhythm Sangwan and Arjun Cheema were also competing in the 10 meter air pistol mixed team event. Both the players had a good start but their rhythm deteriorated in the middle and they finished 10th with a total of 576-14x. On the other hand, Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh scored 580-2x.

Manu won the bronze medal in the women's 10 meter air pistol event on Sunday. She became the first Indian woman shooter to win an Olympic medal. She won a medal for India at the Olympic shooting range after 12 years.
Another Indian shooter Ramita Jindal faced disappointment. She finished 7th in the final of the women's 10 meter air rifle competition. 20-year-old Ramita scored 145.3 in the final of 8 shooters. She finished 7th after 10 shots. On Sunday, Ramita finished fifth in the qualification. Hangzhou Asian Games bronze medalist Ramita had booked a ticket to Paris by defeating world championship medalists Mehuli Ghosh and Tilottama Sen in the domestic trials.
