Manu Bhaker has created history in the Paris Olympics. The bullet from her pistol has helped India win another medal. With this, the number of medals for India has increased to 2. Manu Bhaker has also become the first Indian athlete to win 2 medals in the same Olympics. Manu Bhaker, along with her partner Sarabjot Singh, won the second medal for India. Manu and Sarabjot defeated the Korean pair 16-10 in the bronze medal match of the 10 meter air pistol mixed team event.

Manu Bhaker had earlier won the bronze medal in the 10m air pistol singles event at the Paris Olympics on 28 July. With her first bronze medal in Paris, Manu opened India's account in the medal tally. And now, 48 hours after her first success in Paris, Manu Bhaker has created history by winning another bronze medal.

Manu-Sarabjot pair hoisted the flag in Paris

Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh qualified for the bronze medal match of the 10m air pistol mixed team event on 29 July. Both of them had hit 20 perfect shots in the qualification round and scored 580 points through it.
