Shreyas Iyer: The three-match ODI series between the Indian team and Sri Lanka will begin on August 2 and its first match will be played in Colombo. Team India's star batsman Shreyas Iyer is facing a lot of troubles even before the first match.
Let us tell you that Iyer has been selected in Team India for the first time after the dispute with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) but his troubles are not reducing. Shreyas may be out of the ODI series against Sri Lanka.

Actually, Shreyas Iyer has returned to Team India after a long time and has been included in the ODI series. However, he may have to sit on the bench in this series and Iyer is not going to get a chance to play in a single match.
Shreyas has performed brilliantly for Team India in the ODI format but after this he can be dropped from the team. Actually, wicketkeeper batsman KL Rahul can be given a chance in place of Iyer and he can be seen playing in the playing eleven, while Rishabh Pant can be seen playing at number 4.
Let us tell you that at the beginning of this year, Team India played a 5-match Test series against England and after the first two matches of this series, Shreyas Iyer was dropped due to poor performance. After this, BCCI asked him to play in domestic matches.
However, Iyer did not listen to the board and after this the Board of Control for Cricket in India took action against him and he was removed from the central contract. In such a situation, he has not been included back in the central contract till now.
If we look at Shreyas Iyer's ODI career, he has performed brilliantly for Team India. The 29-year-old has played a total of 59 ODIs for India so far, in which he has scored 2383 runs at an average of around 50.
