Whenever Team India takes the field, some of its players do wonders with their fielding apart from batting or bowling. Indian players are experts in catching the ball with a tremendous dive or stopping a boundary. At the same time, there are some who are a little behind on this front and this includes fast bowler Mohammad Siraj, who is often seen misfielding. However, in the first ODI against Sri Lanka, Siraj made a great effort to catch a ball. Siraj's reaction was more funny than his effort, which forced the fans to laugh.

After clean sweeping Sri Lanka in the T20 series, Team India has entered the field with the same intention in the ODI series. Now if there is an ODI match against Sri Lanka, then eyes are always on Siraj because in the last one year this pacer has given Sri Lanka a bad fate. In this match also Siraj had a similar start and as soon as he came, he took a wicket.

The catch slipped from the first hand

After showing his amazing performance in bowling, Siraj had a chance to show his skills in fielding as well and he was almost successful in it. Arshdeep Singh was bowling in the 8th over of Sri Lanka's innings and Pathum Nissanka played a flick shot on his ball, which bounced towards square leg as a catch. Here Siraj ran from deep fine leg and dived forward to catch the ball.

Then Siraj kept looking for the ball

Siraj failed in this attempt and after diving to catch the ball, the ball slipped out of his hand. While everyone was disappointed that Siraj could not catch the ball, Siraj was stuck in a different problem. He could not understand where the ball went. He started looking here and there and even started asking the spectators where the ball was. Finally he understood that the ball was near his feet. Seeing this, the spectators also started laughing and the disappointment of missing the catch also disappeared.
