Champions Trophy 2025: The Indian team is currently in Sri Lanka and a three-match ODI series is being played between the two teams. The Champions Trophy is to be held next year i.e. in 2025 and before that Team India now has only 5 ODI matches left.
In such a situation, Team India would like to play almost the same team in these five ODI matches before the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which will play in the Champions Trophy. In this way, captain Rohit Sharma and head coach Gautam Gambhir would have already decided their team for this tournament.

Let us tell you that the first ODI match was played between India and Sri Lanka in Colombo on Friday and no result could come out of this match. However, it has become clear from this ODI that which 15 players Rohit and Gambhir are going to give a chance in the Champions Trophy 2025.
Team India would like to make full preparations before the Champions Trophy next year. After the victory in the T20 World Cup 2024, BCCI secretary Jay Shah had also said that almost the same team is going to go to the Champions Trophy and in such a situation only a few changes can be seen.
Actually, Pakistan will host the Champions Trophy 2025 and the International Cricket Council (ICC) has also announced the budget for this. However, there is no confirmation yet as to whether the Indian team will go to Pakistan for this tournament or not.
If media reports are to be believed, Team India will not go to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy and the team will play its matches at a neutral venue and the names of Sri Lanka or Dubai are coming forward for this. However, it will be interesting to see in the coming time what kind of decision the Indian government takes. Let us tell you that this tournament will be played in the beginning of next year i.e. in February and March.
