Sri Lanka Cricket Board gave a big update regarding Wanindu Hasaranga

Giving an update on the injury of Sri Lanka's veteran all-rounder and the team's biggest match winner Wanindu Hasaranga, the board said that-

“Wanindu Hasranga will not be able to play the remaining matches of the ODI series as he has suffered a hamstring injury. During the first ODI, he felt pain in his left hamstring while bowling the last ball of his 10th over. After which the injury was confirmed by MRI.”

In the first match of the ODI series held on 2 August at the Colombo ground, Wanindu Hasaranga played an important role in getting the team to tie the match against Team India. Wanindu Hasaranga took the wickets of Virat Kohli, KL Rahul and Kuldeep Yadav in the first ODI match, but now that Wanindu Hasaranga is out of the entire ODI series.
