Serious: The second match of the 3 ODI series being played between Sri Lanka and India (SL vs IND) is being played on the Colombo ground on Sunday. In this match, Sri Lanka won the toss and decided to bat. Batting first, the Sri Lankan team was successful in scoring 240 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 50 overs.
Whereas, India managed to set a target of 241 runs. The first match of the series between Sri Lanka and India was a tie. Meanwhile, in this series, Team India's new head coach Gautam Gambhir has found a replacement for Ravindra Jadeja.
Star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja did not get a chance in the 3-match ODI series against Sri Lanka. After which it is believed that Jadeja's career in the ODI format is now over.
Let us tell you that, apart from being an all-rounder, Jadeja is also the world's number 1 fielder. Due to which it is very difficult to find his replacement. However, in the second ODI match, the team's star batsman Shreyas Iyer reminded all the fans of Ravindra Jadeja with his fielding.

Team India batsman Shreyas Iyer did a great fielding in the second ODI match and ran out the Sri Lankan batsman. Actually, Kamindu Mendis wanted to take 2 runs on the 5th ball of the 50th over.
But Shreyas Iyer stationed at deep wicket immediately went towards the ball and hit a direct hit and ran out Mendis. Iyer reminded us of Ravindra Jadeja with his direct hit. Because, Jadeja has run out batsmen many times with his direct hit. Due to which it is now believed that Iyer can become the next Jadeja of Team India's fielding.

Sri Lanka, who won the toss and elected to bat first, had a very bad start. Because, the team suffered a big blow on the very first ball and the team's most in-form player Pathum Nissanka returned to the pavilion without opening his account. However, some batsmen of the team made small contributions and took the team's score to 240 runs. Kamindu Mendis and Fernando contributed 40-40 runs from Sri Lanka's side.
