Rishabh Pant did not get a chance to play in the playing 11 in the first 2 matches against Sri Lanka. KL Rahul is playing as a wicketkeeper batsman in Team India's playing 11. But now Rishabh Pant can get a chance in place of KL Rahul in the third match of the ODI series.

Because, KL Rahul could not do anything special in the first 2 ODIs. Rahul scored 31 runs in the first match. While in the second match, Rahul returned to the pavilion without opening his account. Pant's playing in the third ODI is now considered certain.
