Team India: Team India is currently on a tour of Sri Lanka. After the ODI series ends on the Sri Lanka tour, Team India has to play its next series against Bangladesh. The selection committee may soon officially announce the team squad for the 2 Test match series against Bangladesh starting on 19 September.
Meanwhile, according to media reports, the selection committee for the Bangladesh Test series may decide to exclude KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer from the team squad and may give Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammad Shami a chance to make a comeback in the team.

The recent form of Team India's star batsmen KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer has been very ordinary. Due to which it is being speculated that the selection committee may decide not to include KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer in the team squad to be selected for the Bangladesh Test series.
Team India's veteran all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has not got a chance to play any match at the international level since the T20 World Cup. Due to which it is believed that Ravindra Jadeja is sure to get a chance for the Test series against Bangladesh.
Meanwhile, Mohammed Shami, who has been suffering from ankle injury for a long time, is currently seen doing rehab at the National Cricket Academy, but after talking to the officer managing his injury, it has been learned that Shami can be seen making a comeback in international cricket for Team India from the Bangladesh Test series.
