Due to which it is believed that Shivam Dubey is getting a chance to play because of a special connection in BCCI.

Shivam Dubey played his first match for Team India in the T20 World Cup held in 2024 after 2019. Shivam Dubey has not given any match-winning performance in any of the matches played after his comeback. Shivam Dubey has taken only 4 wickets in all the matches played since his comeback. Due to which it is believed that the captain does not get much benefit by including Shivam Dubey in the playing 11.

Shivam Dubey has made a comeback in ODI cricket after 5 years

Shivam Dubey played his only ODI match for Team India before the ongoing ODI series on the Sri Lanka tour against West Indies in 2019. Even after making a comeback in the Sri Lanka ODI series in 2024, Shivam Dubey's performance in the 2 matches played so far in this format has been quite ordinary. Due to which it is now believed that perhaps the selection committee will now give another player a chance to play in ODI and T20 cricket instead of Shivam Dubey.
