According to media updates related to Dinesh Karthik, Karthik can be seen playing for the Royals' franchise Barbados Royals in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) before playing in SA 2025.
At the same time, Dinesh Karthik can sign a contract with Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash (BBL) to be held in Australia at the end of the year. This can happen because in IPL cricket, Dinesh Karthik and Melbourne Stars captain Glenn Maxwell play for the same franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). After which it is believed that Dinesh Karthik can sign a contract with Melbourne Stars on the request of Glenn Maxwell.
If Dinesh Karthik signs a contract with Barbados Royals in CPL and Melbourne Stars in Big Bash, he will get around Rs 80 lakh for playing one season from both the teams. If this deal is not finalized between Dinesh Karthik and the franchise, then Dinesh Karthik's fans can see him playing for Paarl Royals in the third edition of SA 20 starting from 9 January 2025 in South Africa.
