Indian female wrestler Vinesh Phogat was eliminated from the Olympic wrestling competition, and with this the whole of India's dream of winning gold was shattered. But on the other hand, politics has also started on this issue. From Akhilesh Yadav to Sanjay Singh and Rakesh Tikait, everyone has accused of conspiracy. There has been a flood of various comments on social media as well. In these, the possibility of a conspiracy against Vinesh has been expressed. Opposition parties have started targeting her.
Vinesh Phogat was disqualified in the 50 kg wrestling competition at the Paris Olympics due to being overweight. A wave of disappointment spread across the country after this incident. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also called Paris and sought information about the entire incident. While encouraging Vinesh, he wrote on Instagram - You are the champion of champions. You are the pride of India.
Olympic Games have their own rules and on the basis of these rules Vinesh Phogat has been disqualified but some leaders of the opposition parties are calling it a conspiracy against Vinesh. But the important question is whether there really was any conspiracy against Vinesh? Sports experts do not agree with this.
Senior sports journalist Boria Majumdar has written on X- I am seeing a lot of tweets saying that this has been done deliberately but it is not so at all. He further wrote- Dr. Pardiwala and the team worked all night to prepare for the final. The IOA gave all possible support. They did everything that was possible. Along with this, he also wrote that please do not comment on the conspiracy, this will increase his pain.
Senior sports journalist Digvijay Dev Singh wrote on Instagram - Vinesh Phogat's disqualification is very disappointing and shocking for all of us. But it is unfortunate that the level of discussion on this incident is very low. He wrote that political powers, in their hatred for the government, are calling it a conspiracy against Vinesh. They are looking for politics.
Expressing his anger, he wrote that even if he does not know anything about the game, his statements with political intentions are making headlines. He said that instead of speculating and calling it a conspiracy in the incident, focus on the facts. Trust the opinion of sports experts. Explain to the people how these things work in such situations?
