Ravindra Jadeja: Team India had to face a 2-0 defeat in the 3-match ODI series played against Sri Lanka. Due to which Team India is now being heavily criticized. Team India had to face defeat by 110 runs in the third match against Sri Lanka.

Meanwhile, Team India's head coach Gautam Gambhir has found a replacement for star player Ravindra Jadeja from the Sri Lanka series. Due to which Jadeja cannot be included in Team India's squad for the Champions Trophy.

Ravindra Jadeja got a replacement!

Indian team's all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was not given a chance in the ODI series against Sri Lanka. Due to which it is believed that it is now difficult for Jadeja to get a chance again in the ODI format.

However, considering the brilliant performance of young player Washington Sundar in the Sri Lanka series, Jadeja's return now seems difficult. Because, head coach Gautam Gambhir can now give a chance to Washington Sundar in the ODI format in the future as well.

Sundar may get a chance in Champions Trophy

The performance of young player Washington Sundar against Sri Lanka has been excellent. Due to which Sundar may get a chance in the Champions Trophy 2025 to be played in Pakistan.

Sundar may get a place in the squad in place of Ravindra Jadeja. Washington Sundar took 5 wickets in 3 ODIs against Sri Lanka, bowling at an average of 21. While Sundar also scored 50 runs in 3 innings. Sundar's performance against Sri Lanka has been quite commendable.

Jadeja may return against Bangladesh

Team India's star player Ravindra Jadeja last played for Team India in the final of the T20 World Cup 2024. Since then he has not got a place in the team. But now Jadeja's return is considered certain in the 2 Test match series to be played with Bangladesh. Because, Jadeja's performance in the Test format has always been excellent.
