In response to 249 runs, India could only score 138 runs and lost the match. As a head coach, Gautam Gambhir had to face defeat in his very first ODI series. At the same time, due to these 3 decisions of Gambhir, bad times may start for India.

These 3 decisions of Gautam Gambhir may prove costly for Team India!

Bad days have started for Team India, due to these 3 decisions of Gautam Gambhir, India will not be able to win even one ICC trophy 2

1. Changing the batting order

In all the three matches of the ODI series played against Sri Lanka, Team India's head coach Gautam Gambhir changed the batting order of India. Due to which the batsmen were not able to settle down.

Except Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli, all the batsmen could not bat at their positions. Due to which the middle order of Team India has been a flop in the entire series and Team India was all out in all three matches.

2. Main bowlers did not get a place in the playing 11

In all three matches against Sri Lanka, the main bowlers in Team India's playing 11 did not bowl the full 50 overs. Due to which Sri Lanka always managed to score more than 200 runs on a difficult pitch. Arshdeep Singh was dropped in the third match against Sri Lanka.

Whereas in his place, young player Riyan Parag was given a chance. Due to which the bowling of Team India looked ineffective. Gambhir does not want to give place to main bowlers in the playing 11 and gives more and more chances to all-rounder players.

3. Not showing confidence in playing 11

Let us tell you that head coach Gautam Gambhir is not showing much confidence in Team India's playing 11 and is making changes in the playing 11 in almost every match. KL Rahul has been dropped from the ODI series due to 2 bad innings. While Gambhir also did not trust Arshdeep Singh and he was dropped from the third ODI.
