Akhtar took to social media platform X to praise Neeraj Chopra's mother and wrote in the tweet, 'The one who got the gold is also our boy. Only a mother can say this. Amazing.'
Neeraj Chopra's five throws were fouls in the final match
In the final match, Neeraj Chopra was not in the right rhythm due to injury. In the final match, he was able to throw the right throw in only one attempt. His five throws were fouls. He also looked a little disappointed due to this. Arshad was able to cross the 90 meter mark twice in the final. He threw a throw of 92.97 meters in his last attempt and secured the gold medal.
