Before the Test series against Bangladesh, Team India's players can be seen playing in a big tournament. The Test series with Bangladesh starts on 19th September. But, before that, many Indian players including Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli can be seen playing in the Duleep Trophy starting on 5th September. If this happens, there can be a possibility of clashes between them. Four teams will participate in the Duleep Trophy which will be divided into India A, India B, India C and India D. The BCCI selection committee will select the players for these teams.

According to the report of The Indian Express, the Indian selectors want the key players of Team India to play in the Duleep Trophy. Shubman Gill, Suryakumar Yadav, KL Rahul, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Kuldeep Yadav and Akshar Patel have been asked by the selectors to play in the tournament. Jasprit Bumrah has also been given exemption here. Actually, the Indian selectors do not want to take any kind of risk regarding Bumrah.
