Players: The Indian cricket team has recently returned from a tour of Sri Lanka. Team India has faced defeat in the ODI series against Sri Lanka. India could not win a single match in the 3-match ODI series. While now the Indian team has to play Test and T20 series with Bangladesh. For which the squad of Team India can be announced very soon.

If we talk about Nepal cricket team, then Nepal team has performed very well in the last 2 years. Due to which this team was able to play in Asia Cup and T20 World Cup. Now, a total of 15 players of Nepal team have decided to play cricket by staying in India and have left Nepal.

15 players left the country together

Nepal cricket team played T20 World Cup for the first time. In which some players of the team performed brilliantly. Due to which now Nepal Cricket Board and BCCI have taken a big decision together. BCCI has helped Nepal Board a lot.

Because, now a total of 15 main players of Nepal cricket will learn cricket by staying in India. All the players of Nepal will take training at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore. So that their team can perform even better in the coming time. The Nepal team has come to NCA for 2 weeks of training.

Performance of Nepal team in T20 World Cup

The T20 World Cup 2024 was played in June under the hosting of West Indies and America. In which India defeated South Africa and captured the trophy. Whereas if we talk about the Nepal cricket team, then Nepal was placed in Group D in the T20 World Cup 2024.

Nepal team played against South Africa, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Netherlands in the T20 World Cup. Nepal team may not have won a single match. But the team performed brilliantly and lost very close matches.

The team is preparing for T20 World Cup 2026

India is hosting the T20 World Cup 2026. Due to which the Nepal cricket team has already started preparing for the T20 World Cup. Because, the Nepal team would like to prepare a strong squad from now for the T20 World Cup to be held after 2 years. So that the team can give tough competition to any team and win the match.
