After which West Indies had to score 298 runs to win the match but by the end of the fifth day, the West Indies team was able to score only 201 runs at the loss of 5 wickets. Due to which the match was a draw.

The Indian team, which is currently at the top of the World Test Championship's current cycle, benefited from the draw of the first match of the Test series between West Indies and Africa (WI VS SA). If South Africa had won this match, it could have reduced Team India's chances of reaching the final. For this reason, Team India has benefited from the draw of the Test match between West Indies and Africa.

Team India will play its next match against Bangladesh

Team India, which is at the top of the World Test Championship (WTC) in the current cycle, will have to play its next match in the Test format against Bangladesh on 19 September.
