Ajinkya Rahane: Indian team's veteran batsmen Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara have been out of Team India for a long time. Because of this, all these players are insisting on playing domestic cricket but now they are not going to get a chance in that too.
The doors of Team India are now almost closed for Rahane and Pujara forever and they are now seen playing only in domestic cricket. However, now they are not going to get a chance even in domestic cricket and chief selector Ajit Agarkar is not going to select them.

Actually, both these players have performed well in Test cricket for Team India but are currently out of the team. Rahane (Ajinkya Rahane) last played cricket for the Indian team a year ago and since then he has not been selected in Team India.
Apart from Rahane, Pujara has also been out of Team India for a long time. Pujara, who has played more than 100 Test matches for India, has not been able to perform well for Team India for some time and he has not got any chance for the last one year.
Let us tell you that India's domestic tournament Dilip Trophy is about to start and both Pujara and Rahane can be shown the way out of Team India for this tournament. It seems very difficult for both of them to be selected in this tournament.
By the way, Rahane (Ajinkya Rahane) is currently in England, where he is a part of Leicestershire in the England Domestic ODI Cup 2024, while Pujara is not playing in this tournament this season but he has played in it before. Agarkar can give a chance to young players in the Duleep Trophy and for this reason both of them can be dropped.
Actually, this tournament is going to start in September and its first match will be played between Team A and Team B on 5th September. A total of 4 teams will participate in this tournament and 6 matches will be played between them. Apart from this, the top-2 teams in the points table will be seen playing in the final.
The names of the teams participating in this are Team 'A', Team 'B', Team 'C' and Team 'D'. Let us tell you that these matches come under the category of First Class Cricket and matches will be played for 4 days.
