Team India: The T20 World Cup 2024 was hosted by West Indies and USA. In the T20 World Cup, Team India was successful in winning the T20 trophy for the second time by defeating South Africa by 7 runs in the final match. After the T20 World Cup, Team India has so far played T20 series with Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka.
Whereas the team has to play T20 series with Bangladesh and South Africa in the year 2024. A 4-match T20 series is to be played between South Africa and India from November 8. For which 10 out of the 15 players playing T20 World Cup 2024 may not get a place in Team India's squad.

The T20 series is to be played under the hosting of South Africa. For which Suryakumar Yadav can get the captaincy of Team India. Because, Surya has been made the regular captain of the T20 format. Due to which Surya can captain the team in the series against South Africa as well. In the recently played T20 series against Sri Lanka, Team India has won the series 3-0 under the captaincy of Surya.
After the T20 World Cup 2024, 3 players of Team India had announced their retirement from the T20 format. Which includes the names of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja. Due to which these 3 players will not play in this series first.
Apart from this, Jaspreet Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Hardik Pandya, Sanju Samson, Mohammad Siraj and Shivam Dubey can be rested. Young players can be given a chance against South Africa. Due to which these players can be rested.
Some young players may get a chance in the 15-member Indian team in the T20 series against South Africa. Which includes the names of players like Nitish Kumar Reddy, Rajat Patidar, Yash Dayal, Harshit Rana, Abhishek Sharma. Who had a great performance in IPL 2024. While Abhishek Sharma also scored a brilliant century against Zimbabwe in his second international match.
