Rohit Sharma: Under the leadership of Team India captain Rohit Sharma, the Indian team has won the title of T20 World Cup 2024. After winning the title of T20 World Cup 2024, Rohit Sharma has announced his retirement from T20 International cricket.
Meanwhile, a statement by Rohit Sharma has been going viral in the last few days in which Rohit himself is seen confirming that he will leave Mumbai Indians. After which it is believed that Rohit Sharma can join this weak team for the next IPL season.

Former Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma recently went to a public event. Where the anchor present there asked him a question about his future as captain. Responding to this, Rohit Sharma said that
"His hunger for victory has not stopped yet. I have made Mumbai Indians win 5 IPL titles. There is a reason for that."
Speaking further, he said that
"I will not stop now because when you get the taste of winning matches and trophies on your tongue then you do not want to stop"

Rohit Sharma had won the IPL title for Mumbai Indians 5 times under his captaincy, but before the start of the IPL 2024 season, the Mumbai Indians franchise gave the captaincy of the team to Hardik Pandya instead of Rohit Sharma. After which Rohit Sharma was not very happy with this decision, which we also saw during the matches of Mumbai Indians in the last season.
There is still about 6 months left for the start of the IPL 2025 season, but according to reports in the media recently, the team management of Lucknow Super Giants may decide to add Rohit Sharma to their team before the IPL 2025 auction.
Some media reports also claim that the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) franchise can spend Rs 20 to 25 crore to include Rohit Sharma as captain in its franchise.
