Shikhar Dhawan has retired from international and domestic cricket. He gave this information through social media. On Saturday morning, 24 August, he shared a video in which he announced his retirement and thanked all the fans. While saying goodbye to cricket, he especially thanked his family, childhood coach, Team India and BCCI. Dhawan played his last match in international cricket on 10 December 2022 against Bangladesh in Chittagong. He could score only 3 runs in this match.
