Team India: The last time a series was organized between Team India and West Indies (IND VS WI) on Indian soil was in the year 2022. The West Indies team has not visited India in the last 2 years. Meanwhile, according to reports in the media, BCCI and West Indies Cricket Board have signed a deal to tour India.
After which it is believed that the BCCI selection committee can consider the West Indies team as weak and can announce a 15-member Team India squad against them. It is also believed that the BCCI selection committee can give the captaincy of the team to Ruturaj Gaikwad for the series against the West Indies and can also give a chance to 8 players to debut simultaneously.

The 3 ODI series against the West Indies before the World Cup 2027 is going to be very important for the Indian team's World Cup preparation. In the list of these 8 players, Arjun Tendulkar, Samit Dravid, Mushir Khan, Priyam Garg, Tanush Kotian, Yash Thakur, Arshin Kulkarni, Prabhsimran Singh can get a chance.
